Sponsors & Donations

Volunteers donate their heart, time, sweat, and tears. However, certain bills still need be paid.

Costs associated with field maintenance, insurance, umpires, and shared training equipment, are covered by the league with the help of generous donors. This helps to keep individual player registration fees lower so that girls that want to join a team aren’t turned away because of the financial obligation.

There’s also always the option to sponsor individual teams by covering uniforms, paying tournament entry fees, crediting them with batting cage time, and more.

*We are an official 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. All contributions made are fully tax deductible under IRC section 170.

Skills and Experience Vary, But Everyone Brings Heart

Winning games is fun, but winning at life is even better. Our league cultivates a positive experience where girls are rewarded just as much for showing up as they are for showing skills. Players cheer each other on, and show grit and determination when things don’t go their way.

Volunteer administrators and coaches selflessly donate their time and passion to ensure ample growth opportunities are made available for the young women of SVGS.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Teams will practice two weeknights per week with time slots of either 5-7pm or 7-9pm, Monday-Thursday. Practice days and times are picked by coaches and vary by team.

    Practice days will reduce to one weeknight per week once games begin.

  • Practices will take place at either Silverado Ranch or West Flamingo Park. Fields are chosen by coaches and vary by team. Field addresses can be found at the bottom of the page under “Fields of Play”.

  • The season will consist of 12 games, and will take place on one weeknight and/or Saturdays every week. Weeknight games are determined based on age division.

    Game start times on weeknights are 6pm or 7:30pm. Saturday games vary between 9am-6pm. Each game has a play time of 1 hour, 20 minutes for ages 8u and up. 6u will have a play time of 45 min-1 hour.

    Opening day is TBD, but will start mid-late September and carry into November.

  • Most weekday games are played at Majestic Softball Complex, hosted by our sister league, Northwest Girls Softball. Some Saturday games will be held at our home fields of West Flamingo Park. Both addresses are located at the bottom of the page under “Fields of Play”.

  • Each season will end with an End of Season Tournament, in which teams will compete for a championship title. The End of Season Tournament is included in normal registration.

    Northwest Girls Softball hosts a Spring and Fall season tournament that is optional for teams to participate. This tournament fee is not included in registration and will be an added cost to the team.

  • All players are required to attend player evaluations, returning or not. If you are unable to attend evaluations on either of the specified dates, please reach out to SVGSPresident@gmail.com as soon as possible.

    Evaluations will be conducted on a as needed basis for the Spring season.

  • There is currently a payment plan option provided at check out within the Team Snap registration form. It requires a $150 deposit, with two additional installments due prior to the first game of the season. If you are in need of a different payment plan option, please reach out to SVGSPresident@gmail.com directly.
